Hi, I’m Benny Yang! I’m a Grade 12 student borned in September, 2007, from Richmond Secondary School who love snowboarding, singing, and can play five different instruments. I enjoy staying active and creative, love doing math and accounting, aiming to Sauder in UBC.
I am a dedicated individual deeply committed to my community. I have actively participated in various activities, including the cherry blossom festival, advocating for solutions to youth homelessness in front of the Mayor and councillors, and serving as the president of the Mandarin club for two years. My outgoing and sociable nature, combined with my background of being born in China and relocating to Richmond during my sixth-grade year, has allowed me to find joy and comfort in this environment. My mother has been my lifelong mentor, guiding me through life's challenges and academic pursuits. Her unwavering support and encouragement have instilled in me the values of perseverance and hard work. I am always passionate to connect with new individuals and continue expanding my horizons!
